"The term 'jihad' usually means Jihad fi sabil Allah -- "striving in the path of God,". To gain Muslim support, we should call terrorists "hirabis" (sinful warriors) ... which would be more accurate. Changing this vocabulary would work miracles! Send this article to your congressmen.
